Missed Call

By placing the photograph of a full-scale phone in the space it previously occupied, an illusion is created, although it is no longer really there, the phone remains. Apparently, nothing has changed. At least until it comes the time to use it, then we will discover that it is false. On the other hand, if, as in most cases due to the present time we live in, we do not need its services, we will pass by, categorizing the piece closer to a set design in the background.

Mediante la colocación de la fotografía de un teléfono a escala real en el espacio que anteriormente ocupaba, se crea la ilusión de que, pese a que ya no está realmente allí, el teléfono permanece. Aparentemente, nada ha cambiado. Al menos hasta que llega el momento de usarlo, entonces descubriremos que es falso. En cambio, si como sucede en la mayoría de los casos de nuestro tiempo presente, no requerimos de su servicio, pasaremos de largo, hecho que acercará la pieza a la categoría de escenografía de fondo.
